Vision and MissionBreakthrough Partners is pleased to announce the addition of Kevin and Renée Napier to our US staff.  Kevin will function as our Chief Operating Officer, overseeing the field strategies and plans, fundraising and communications of Breakthrough Partners. Renée comes on board as our Senior Partner for Community Development, a role where she will cultivate relationships with national leaders and communities who are engaged in community development from a Biblical worldview. Both will play an integral part in building up the next generation of leaders to courageously and powerfully work to rebuild their communities and nations in alignment with the Kingdom of God.

Kevin Napier comes to us after twenty-two years with the U.S. Government. He has traveled to Asia, Europe, and Africa. During a recent trip to Kenya he was inspired by the church leaders living and working in developing countries and the importance of nurturing and developing these relationships. He became convinced of the importance of interconnectedness and unity, especially for the advancement of God’s Kingdom. Kevin grew up in Ohio.  He is a graduate of Liberty University and earned a Master’s degree in Education Administration from Virginia Tech. He married Renée in 1986 and is the father of two children, Hope and Daniel.

Renée Napier is a lover of people and has a deep passion for peacemaking, justice, unity and reconciliation in the whole of life, but especially within the Church. She has lived in several areas within the U.S. as well as four years in Europe and two years in Asia.  On a trip to Africa, Renée was inspired by the devotion and commitment of church leaders to the needs of their community.  This contributed to her passion to serve indigenous church and community leaders and to further her education. Renée grew up in Baltimore, Maryland and married Kevin in 1986. They have two children and live in Washington State. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Liberty University and is currently enrolled in Eastern University’s Master of Arts program in International Development, planning to complete her studies in May 2010.
