Gary L. Edmonds
Senior Partner
Breakthrough Partners
Gary Edmonds is the senior partner of Breakthrough Partners, a non-profit consulting firm working to develop high-impact churches to be God's sustaining instrument of transformation in their communities. Prior to taking this position with Breakthrough Partners, Gary served as executive director of Churches Together, the Secretary General of the World Evangelical Alliance and Associate International Director of Interdev, equipping local churches to become agents of transformation in their communities. He also ministered in Southern California as Senior Associate Pastor of Mariners Church, growing that church and giving leadership to its missions and international programs. Gary and his wife, Tricia, and their family also lived in Europe for eighteen years, serving as Director of Christian Associates International, focusing on leadership development and church planting, and as senior pastor of Crossroads Evangelical Church in Geneva.
Gary has a passion for functional partnership of the Body of Christ and extending the Church of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth. He says the most significant lesson learned in Europe was that "a city, nation, or continent will only be impacted when the Body of Christ intentionally and functionally works together."
Gary is an ordained minister and has a master's degree in Biblical Studies from Christian Associates Seminary, has completed Missiology studies at Fuller Theological Seminary and has done further study at Regent College, Vancouver, and the University of Geneva. He and his wife Tricia have been married thirty-two years and have four grown children and six grandchildren. They presently reside in Edmonds, Washington.
