Community Transformation Initiatives

1. Breakthrough Training: A training course made up of 10-12 video DVD teaching sessions of 40 minutes each along with a teacher's manual and study guides for use by small groups and classes that address the following concepts:
1. Teaching a Kingdom worldview.
2. Equipping people for wholistic service.
3. Training in asset-based development.
4. Fostering servant leadership that seeks the well-being of the whole community.
5. Cultivating the sustainability factors of the local church.
6. Innovating strategies that heal the systemic brokenness of society.
7. Equipping for partnership: Church to church, church to NGO, church to community.


2. Breakthrough Leadership Institute for Community Transformation: Identify and train leaders who will in turn train and coach others. Work through groups and relationships that we have to identify these leaders.
1. Leaders who will engage groups in their own communities for transformation.
2. Leaders who will adopt a community and have relationship with an indigenous leader or team of leaders, who will be coached, mentored and trained.
3. Leaders who want to be part of a team in an indigenous context who will go in and cultivate relationship within that community in a friendship/mentor/training role with those people.
